“Your thoughts today are now prepaving your future, and there will be a point in time when you will move to that future place, and you will then live the results of the thoughts that you are thinking now, just as today you are living the results of the thoughts that you have thought before.” And so, it goes in THE LAW OF ATTRACTION – The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks.
Throughout time there have been stories regarding the power of the Universal Laws, such as the Law of Attraction, reciprocity, the Golden Rule, etc. But is it a fable? An old wives tale? Or is there some validity/credence to this belief? The Hicks’ set out to prove that THE LAW OF ATTRACTION is more than just an old wives tale. Many believe that “there are universal laws that work in the background to keep a balance between the physical and the non-physical realms.”
Esther was used as the spokesperson by a collective group non-physical entities they call “Abraham” as an instrument to “teach” people about not only the power of THE LAW OF ATTRACTION (where “matching thoughts are drawn together, and as they do, they become more powerful“), but also about your Emotional Guidance System (“the emotions that you feel are your indication of the match or mismatch of [your] opinions“).
You also learn about your Inner Being/Source Energy (which “always offers a perspective that is to your greatest advantage, and when your perspective matches that, then positive attraction is occurring“) along with the Science of Deliberate Creation ( “it has been created, it now exists, and in order to now have it in your experience, you have only to allow it. And you allow it by expecting it, believing it, and letting it be“).
Reading this book may be unnerving for some, especially “the conversations with Abraham” (the third “author” of the book). Maybe it’s because you can’t see them, touch them or explain them away that then makes them or their messages invalid. Try not to let that become an obstacle that distracts you from learning and/or understanding what this book can teach you…lean not unto thine on understanding... (Prov. 3:5).
THOUGHTS for your SOUL:
- “You are negatively influenced by two major hindrances. One is the influence of others; the other is the influence of your own old habits.”
- “Your attitude, in the moment is the basis from which you will attract more…you attract unto you th essence of that hitch you give thought to.”
- “Everything you see and everyone you know is offering vibrational signals, and those signals must match before attraction can take place.”
You don’t need a book to tell you what you think you know, but rather you can use this book to confirm or refute what you want to believe. THE LAW OF ATTRACTION isn’t a book that you read in one sitting, but rather one that you ponder and reflect on what you’ve just finished reading and then move on to the chapter. While the LAW OF ATTRACTION is a part of everyone’s life this book may not be. However, it ” is about how to pay attention, your every intention can be made manifest in your reality – and it will change your life forever.”
Let’s BOND over BOOKS rates THE LAW OF ATTRACTION as MELODICALLY MEANINGFUL (151-300 pages)…just the right mixture of content and pages.
